Purple Sun + Moon Yoga Class Descriptions
Sol Flow - Our Signature all levels Vinyasa Flow. This upbeat, creative, and fun yoga practice, seamlessly linking breath and movement, will keep you present as you learn to move gracefully in and out of poses while keeping grounded and centered. Utilizing Sun Salutations, strength building and connected movements, Vinyasa Yoga will build confidence and help you stay present and centered. This energetic practice will empower you with the strength to face anything.
Luna Stretch & Reiki - This non-heated gentle class is accessible to all students. Combining Restorative, stretching and yin poses that are held for longer amounts of time to help decrease stress and find moments of stillness. Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue and the fascia of the body. Yin poses specifically stimulate energy or Chi by activating the meridian lines that run through the body and through stretching deeply into their connective tissues. When Reiki is performed at the same time as holding the yin poses, the students will be more likely to experience healing and balance. Reiki is a form of energy healing; it works on many levels to heal and find energetic balance. It can help to align us physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically.
Sunrise Vinyasa Flow - This all levels express vinyasa flow will get you ready for the day. It's a 45-minute class so that you have enough time to get to work. This class will help energize the body and mind. Let yourself ease into your day by connecting with your breath, finding a calm and grounded energy, and allowing your body to slowly awaken. Start your day with a positive mindset!
Sol Luna Flow - What's a better way to get the therapeutic benefits of Yang Yoga and Yin Yoga then combining them into one class? This Yang + Yin Yoga class is the perfect class for you! The Yin style of long-held passive poses opens the body to more flexibility and energy flow while also encouraging a more contemplative non-reactive and intuitive state of mind. The dynamic yang style of Vinyasa Flow helps strengthen and invigorate the body and mind. Are you curious? Great, that's a big part of yoga. Join us in this therapeutic and balancing class.
Luna Flow - A non-heated class, this slow flow yoga practice is a gentle style of yoga where there is an emphasis on holding the postures for a longer period. Slow flow yoga is an accessible practice that’s perfect for beginners and those looking for a slightly gentler flow. During a class, you can expect to practice a combination of hatha yoga and vinyasa yoga. You may take a little more time finding the pose and correcting your alignment. Slow Flow yoga focuses on grounding, breathwork, strengthening and flexibility and provides you with the benefits of a vinyasa practice at a slower pace. This Class is for everyone!

Slow flow yoga is an accessible practice that’s perfect for beginners and those looking for a slightly gentler flow. During a class, you can expect to practice a combination of hatha yoga and vinyasa yoga. The second part of this class will move into restorative postures. Restorative Yoga is a gentle and relaxing style of yoga that uses props to support your body and mind.
